Ans. One can get success by following below strategies. These will ensure exam success :
1. Goal setting: At first, one has to set goals to do well in exam. Because if one doesn’t determine to do well in the exam, he/she may not succeed in exam.
2. Time management: Time management skills helps to take control of study workload. It also helps to achieve more and lessens the stress. One has to minimize obstacles and has to keep the priorities straight.
3. Identification of learning style: At this stage, one has to select way of learning. It may be quite different from other known persons. Study method adaptation helps one to produce powerful results in less time.
4. Developing study plan: One should develop a study plan to decide on how much time he/she will spend outside the class for each course in order to keep up and to do well.
5. Building up effective note-taking techniques: A variety of note-taking styles can help one to record key information and see the bigger picture in terms of subject matter. Good note-taking strategies can help one to make the most of the time spent reading from textbooks and attending classes.
6. Not to miss classes : Always should try to be an active learner. One should attend class regularly and participate whenever possible.
7. Learn all the time: One may look to learn all the time by his/her surrounding environment by putting up review charts and points where one can see them daily on mirrors, doors, fridge, bathroom, television, or bedside table.
8. Working with concentration: If anyone wants to have success in the exam, he/she should study with enough concentration. Because Study + Concentration= Good result. This critical skill enables one to do more in less time.
And there are some other ways to get success in exams such as applying memory techniques, using own intelligence. So, if one can apply these techniques, he/she will do better in exams.
